The Casual Departure At Your Wedding Reception

Wedding Reception Casual Departure

This departure method is not as popular as the farewell circle or guard of honour.

The casual departure has no formal goodbye. At a chosen point of the reception, the bridal couple come together and just say a casual goodbye to close friends and family, then quickly depart, leaving the reception room and not returning. It's almost as if the couple have gone to the Bridal Suite to change attire for their departure, but that's not the case!

It's a relatively quick goodbye with much less fanfare or fuss made of their departure, and some couples like the fact that there's not much attention drawn to their leaving of the reception.

Departing in this manner can often leave your family and friends bewildered as to why they didn't get the chance to wish you luck and wave you goodbye. For many relatives, the chance to wish you luck on your honeymoon can be a very important and emotional event. So, choose this departure method carefully.
